These abstract black and white Adonis & Aphrodite figurines are an incredibly rare pair, made in 1953 by Ceramic Arts Studio as a part of the "Theatre Arts" collection. Made in Madison Wisconsin by Betty Harrington, these figurines are unique and extremely rare to come by. These figurines feature contortionist-like Adonis and Aphrodite, the two are in harmonious positions that compliment each other perfectly. Adonis is shown in an almost curved crescent position with his head facing downwards to Aphrodite, who unlike Adonis is curved backwards looking up to Adonis. Aphrodite measures about "7in tall and Adonis measures about "9.5in tall. Both figurines are in perfect condition with zero cracks or chips.
