This is a beautiful, German style beer stein/mug with an attached pewter lid. The front of the mug depicts a fun scene straight out of Oktoberfest, with two men sitting at a wooden table, being served by a barmaid. The back side of the mug is beautifully decorated with flowers and German inscription. Even the top of the lid features ornate designs that compliment the style of the mug itself. This mug is stamped with the letter C on the bottom. Unfortunately there are some cracks present (see photos). We would not recommend using it to hold beverages, but rather it would more likely be intended as a display piece. Origin date and location and unknown.
