Each of the cards in this set has some sort of puppy or dog in the picture and some even have 'puppy puns' - "I love you dog-on well." The card with the little boy in the green jacket has torn due to age, and the head piece that was made to slide up and down is no longer attached. These cards have been 'once loved', as these were exchanged in the 1930s. The original signatures and notes can still be viewed inside - a great opportunity to envision the lives of those who exchanged these cards, in a much simpler time, nearly 100 years ago!
