An ode to Pope Paul VI! This vintage, collectible glass plate proudly displays the side profile of beloved Pope Paul VI, who "was head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State from 21 June 1963 to his death in August 1978." (per Wikipedia) The regal portrait is tastefully accented with a red background and gold rims around the inner and outside edges of the plate. The plate appears to be in great vintage condition, with minimal signs of wear; no apparent chips or cracks. Made in the USA by Homer Laughlin Best China Co. Origin est. late 1970s.
