This chair end is from the Foster Art Theater in Youngstown, Ohio. It opened in 1939 and ran until the 2020 pandemic, after changing to an adult theater in 1973. It was the longest running adult theater in America. This theater has direct connection to the Warner Brothers, who helped it start up. This cast iron seat was from row S of the theater. It is an original piece and made by Heywood Wakefield. It shows signs of age, but is an antique. There is a spot for a light on top of the S. This awesome piece of history measures 23" x 11" x 2".Take a look at the pictures for the best description. A photo is as good as a thousand words and is the best description of cosmetic condition.
