These unique ceramic salt and pepper shakers originate from 1946-1952 occupied Japan, featuring two hand-painted traditional Asian yoke carriers with two salt and pepper shaker buckets each. The first of the two figurines is wearing a traditional conical hat with a traditional green Asian clasped shirt and sandals, measuring at about "4in tall and a peak width of about "3in. The other figurine has a traditional floral hairstyle with two yellow flowers, one on each side of the head, wearing almost the exact same outfit as the first figurine, this figurine measures at about "4 and "1/8in with a peak width of about "3in. Both figurines and their buckets are marked with a made in occupied Japan stamp, both figurines are in amazing condition for their age. One of the figurines does have some chipped paint atop its head and the other figurine does have some old glue residue on its leg, the buckets could also use new cork plugs. Other than those minor flaws these figurines are in amazing condition making them the perfect post-war collectibles from one of the most memorable eras in history.
