Vintage Porcelain white Japanese lotus nesting bowls, set of three. These lovely bowls are MCM from the 1950s, and have delicate ridges on the side, and scalloped edges resembling a traditional Japanese lotus flower. These bowls are gently used, while there are no chips, the bowls do have some scratches on the bottom inside the bowls, as well as minor crazing. The outside bottom of the bowls show signs of use from placing them on various surfaces, but it appears that they can be scrubbed clean. Overall this is a rare set, that hasn't been touched or used since 1997. The biggest bowl is 8" wide and 3" tall, the medium sized bowl is 6" wide and just under 3" tall, and lastly, the smallest bowl is 4.5" wide and 2.5" tall.Take a look at the pictures for the best description.
